Helios
I was born on a small Greek island and came to America as a boy. I didn't bring much with me — mostly my grandfather's stories. Odysseus, the Cyclops, the long way home.
I worked with my hands for thirty years, until the plant closed. My wife kept us going while I sat out in the garage trying to work out what came next. One afternoon I mixed a batch of resin, just to see what would happen. I've been pouring those old stories into light ever since.
I still work out of that same garage. Every lamp is mixed, poured, cured and sanded by me, one at a time. Some take two or three tries before I'm satisfied with them. The ones I ship are the ones I'd keep for myself.
